Christopher Mitchell (he/him) currently serves as the Senior Director of Compensation at Condé Nast, where he leads the development and execution of global compensation strategies to support the company’s business goals and talent philosophy. In this role, he partners closely with executive leadership to design equitable, data-driven programs that attract, retain, and reward top talent across the organization.

Previously, Christopher was the Director of HR Strategy and Project Management at Condé Nast, responsible for orchestrating the implementation of the global HR strategy, ensuring alignment with both brand and business objectives. This included overseeing strategic initiatives and projects designed to sustainably drive the business forward and tracking progress against defined operational milestones.

Before joining Condé Nast, Christopher held leadership roles at Verizon Media, where he led the implementation and design of performance management, promotion, and recognition programs. He also brings deep experience from Mastercard, where he spearheaded global diversity initiatives as part of their Diversity and Inclusion team.

Christopher graduated from Brown University with a double major in Commerce, Organizations and Entrepreneurship and History of Art and Architecture with a focus on modern art. He later earned his MBA from New York University, where he triple-majored in Management, Luxury Marketing, and Digital Marketing.

He is also deeply committed to community service, having volunteered for numerous non-profits and charity organizations aligned with his personal values, including The LOFT.

In his free time, Christopher enjoys traveling (especially to beach and pool destinations), exploring new restaurants, and is an avid spinner and figure skater.
