A program of The LOFT LGBTQ+ Community Center’s Trans Support of the Hudson Valley (TSHV)
We’re excited to announce that a new TransMission application cycle is now open!
TransMission provides financial assistance of up to $500 to transgender and gender expansive community members for expenses related to social, legal, medical, or surgical transition.
Since 2020, TransMission has provided 137 applicants with vital financial support toward their transition journeys.
Eligibility
To apply, you must:
Be 18 years of age or older
Reside within New York’s Hudson Valley, which includes Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Sullivan, Ulster, and Westchester counties
Provide detailed information about your financial need related to your transition
Application Timeline
Applications Open: October 15 – December 15, 2025
Funding Distributed: Early 2026
Please note that funding is limited and will be awarded based on eligibility and need.
Additional Requirements
Trans Support of the Hudson Valley is funded through individual contributions and grants. As part of our grant compliance, selected recipients will be required to complete two short forms:
